She and her husband Frank Gritale opened RRQ Freestyle BBQ a month after they got married. It's located right on the Long Island Sound in New Rochelle.
There are salads, wings, burgers, even salmon burgers and of course plenty of barbecue.
St. Louis Ribs
Serving: yields 1 rack (About 13 ribs)
Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Pour half of the dry rub mix on the bone side of the ribs and rub into the meat. Pour the remaining rub on the flesh side of the ribs and rub into the meat. Tap excess rub off lightly. Place ribs flesh side up directly in smoker and smoke 275 degrees for 3 hours.
