WEST BABYLON, Long Island (WABC) -- One teenager was killed and four others were injured after a driver blew through a red light in Suffolk County, police say.
It happened around 1 a.m. Saturday in West Babylon at the intersection where Great East Neck Road meets Railroad Avenue.
Police say Michael Demond, 33, struck an SUV carrying the teens.
Demond was killed in the impact, so was Riley Goot, 18.
The four teens who survived the impact all have serious injuries.
