There are still no arrests in a wild slashing incident that was caught on camera in Midtown Manhattan Thursday afternoon.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Park Avenue and East 54th Street, where police say a 22-year-old homeless man attacked a bicyclist with a large stick.

The bicyclist, who appeared to be a bike messenger, reportedly responded by slashing him with a large knife with a red handle.

"I just seen the guys tussling fighting or whatever," a witness said. "And one guy had a knife. I didn't see him cut the guy. I only saw when he backed up, I saw the slash in his chest."

The homeless man was slashed across the chest and sustained a minor injury.

"He punched the guy for no reason," the witness said. "The other guy, he start to show him the knife. Like, if you punch me again, watch."

The bicyclist then fled the scene toward Madison Avenue. He has not been apprehended.

Brownell, who witnessed the entire incident, said the victim was stabbed twice with the knife and slashed with a box cutter during a prior fistfight involving the bicyclist and two other men against the homeless man, but those details could not immediately be confirmed by police.

It was part of a dangerous day in the area, as another unrelated stabbing took place less than two hours earlier.

The suspect wanted in that brazen incident surrendered to police Friday morning.

Authorities say 35-year-old Steven Graham stabbed an Uber driver at West 50th Street, between Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenue, just before 4 p.m. Thursday.
Graham allegedly got out of his van, slashed the victim in his arm, ran back to his vehicle and drove away.

"He was in the driver's seat," a witness said. "He pretty much couldn't protect himself too much, you know what I'm saying? The guy lunges in the window. Like half his body went in the window, stabbed him."

The Uber driver, who authorities say sparked this dispute by inching forward to block the van driver from passing him on West 50th Street, suffered a minor injury.
