Sony's upgraded robo dog Aibo returns with hefty price tag

NEW YORK (WABC) -- How much is that high-tech doggy in the window? Just a cool $2,900.

For the first time in more than a decade, Sony's popular robot dog Aibo is returning to the US.

But there are a lot of upgrades from previous versions.

The adorable robo pup comes with facial recognition technology and the ability to develop a personality through artificial intelligence.

It uses cameras and image sensors to analyze its surroundings.
