VERNON (WABC) -- An Amber Alert has been canceled for three children abducted by their mother after all four were found safe in Maine.

Vernon police said Tuesday that 32-year-old Jackie Morris, who is believed to be homeless, was taken into custody in Bangor, Maine.

Police had issued the statewide alert for 9-year-old Ryan Lewis and Dylan and Brandan Lewis, who are both 7. They were not harmed.

Authorities had been searching for a red 2004 Volkswagen Jetta with the Connecticut license plate 876YGJ. Officials say Morris has ties to Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maine.

Authorities haven't released details on how the children went missing.

Further information will be posted as it becomes available.
