Jalil Teal, 20, who also uses the name Taheemen Green, was wanted for the murder or Nii Sowah.
Sowah, 24, was fatally shot at approximate 2:43 p.m. on Wednesday in the 100 block of Mapes Avenue in Newark. He was pronounced dead at University Hospital.
Teal was arrested by the US Marshals with help from the FBI at approximately 6 pm tonight at a hotel on Route 1 and 9 in Elizabeth. He is being held on $750,000 bail.
