Police were called to Driffill Elementary School around 2 a.m. after an alarm was set off.
When officers arrived, 30-year-old Roberto Padilla was seen running on the campus. The Oxnard man already had an outstanding parole warrant.
Upon searching school grounds, Police found evidence of burglary to several classrooms. They eventually found Padilla hiding on the school's rooftop and took him into custody without incident.
