Armed robber targets Queens bar
The NYPD released surveillance video of an armed robbery at a Queens bar.

BAYSIDE, Queens (WABC) -- Police are searching for a man caught on camera robbing a Queens bartender at gunpoint.

It happened Feb. 27th just after 3 a.m. at JD's Saloon on 35th Avenue in Bayside.

According to the NYPD, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the 35-year-old male employee.

The employee complied and gave him approximately $700 in cash.

The suspect fled the location in an unknown direction.

He is described as a light skinned male, 30 to 40 years old; last seen wearing a black leather jacket, a red hooded sweater, dark colored pants and a black ski cap.
