Joe gets dumped by Samantha on 'Bachelor in Paradise'

NEW YORK -- This week's "Bachelor in Paradise" started off with JJ and Joe arguing after Joe insulted JJ about not having a job. JJ was so offended! Joe ended up walking away from the fight though. Joe started talking to Jorge the bartender about how JJ is his *expletive*. He even told Jorge that Samantha knew what Joe was going to do as far as leading someone on so he could stay until she got there. He's such a snake! Meantime, JJ asked Juelia if he would like his rose so that she could stay and see who else shows up, but she told him he should give it to Megan since he has a connection with her.

Joe goes to complain to Samantha about what everyone is saying, and she could care less. She said to him that she's there just for him and that's all that matters. Joe agreed and he's hoping that eventually people will just deal with it.

Then it was almost time for the rose ceremony. There are seven guys and 10 girls, so three women will be going home. Everyone sat in the main room as a group and Jade said that everyone needs to talk. But, everyone sat there in silence until Joe decided to speak up and told everyone that he reached out on Instagram to Samantha and they just talked about their time together on their previous shows. Juelia said, "Well didn't you come here with the intention of just dating Samantha and then date me?" He stammered around and Samantha tried to talk over him. Clare told her to stop and let Juelia talk. After Joe pretty much didn't answer her, Samantha refused to admit that she talked to Joe beforehand. The rest of the women are appalled at the way that Samantha is treating Juelia.

Samantha, Joe, Tanner and Jade went off to talk and Tanner called them out. He said that he saw the text and heard what Joe said before Samantha got there. Tanner said, "It is what it is and I'm tired of it." He said he has zero respect for Samantha because of all of her lying.

Ashley I. and Jared went off to talk for a little bit and Ashley was really hoping that he would kiss her. They sat in silence for a while and it was so incredibly awkward. He seems to be avoiding physical contact with her. She flat out asked him how he couldn't have kissed her in two days and then he finally went for it and kissed her again. He basically gave in to get her to leave him alone for another two days probably.

Things seem good between Dan and Amber, but JJ has no clue if Megan is just being shy or what's going on because she hasn't kissed him yet. He really likes Megan and Tenley approached him to ask him to consider giving Juelia a rose to stick around. Megan went up to JJ and told him that she really likes him and she wants to stay to explore their relationship. JJ is torn! He wants to help Juelia, but he also wants a shot at love. Juelia went up to Chris Harrison and asked him if she could stay one more week because of what happened with Joe and she doesn't want someone to leave. She also really likes Mikey! She was hoping that he might be able to come back.

Joshua handed out the first rose to Tenley, Jared gave his rose to Ashley I., Kirk gave his rose to Carly, Tanner handed his to Jade, JJ in a surprisingly shocking move decided to give his rose to Ashley S.! What?! He wants her to have another shot at love too! JJ then gave a speech that he broke up with someone to go on the show and he thinks he wants that girl back so he's going to go home! I wonder if he's still with that girl back home or not? Joe gave his rose to Samantha. The only wildcard guy left is Dan. Amber is freaking out because she thinks Dan feels bad for Juelia and will give her a rose despite his feelings for her. Dan picked up his rose and offered it to Amber! He had a real connection with her, you can't fault him for that. Megan, Juelia, and Clare were eliminated from the show. Clare said this was her "retirement from 'Bachelor in Paradise'". That's pretty funny!

As Juelia walked out, Mikey greeted her at the van! Mikey said that he also felt a spark with her and he's back to see if they can give it another chance! Chris Harrison explained the situation to everyone and welcomed them back to the show! Yay! Mikey is back! He is like, Mr. Bachelor in Paradise. Joe said, "This made me look like the biggest villain in the world."

Once the contestants returned to their hut, the found a date card for Tanner! "Your flight leaves soon, choose your date, Tequila!" He of course picked Jade! They boarded a private flight to Guadalajara and then drove to Tequila, Mexico. They went to an agave farm where they make tequila! Tanner hacked away at an agave plant with a shovel and said, "It's definitely fun to wack the old agave."

Joe is on cloud 9 saying that he wants Samantha to be the mother of his children and all that. Then, Nick Peterson walked in! He was the winner of Bachelor Pad 3. He admitted right off the bat that he talked to Samantha before the show! He came in with a date card and invited Samantha. So they went to talk about it and she told him that she can't go on the date. Nick chatted with Mikey about how he had been hanging out with Samantha before the show and he feels led astray. Mikey filled Nick on the whole back story. Nick pulled Ashley S. aside and asked her on the date and she said "absolutely". Unfortunately, the man with the boat told them that the port is closed for their date and it's too dangerous to go there. So, the guy left and so they got back into the SUV and Nick and Ashley didn't know what they were going to do.

Back on Tanner and Jade's date, they were done cutting the agave plants so they went to sit on a bench to talk. As a special surprise, Jade pulled out a fantasy suite card! Tanner was really excited that they would get to spend the whole night together and he wants to tell her that he loves her.

Nick and Ashley S. went off to drink some tequila and they did quite a few shots together! They were at a spa and they went for a tequila massage! How cool is that?! After the masseuse massaged them, they took turns massaging each other. Nick likes Ashley but doesn't know if he can figure her out because she's "out there". HA! So after the massages they made out a little. They climbed into a hot tub and then made out some more. I loved how Nick took the strawberry out of Ashley's hand and flung it away and then pinned her and started making out with her. She's so crazy but these two do have some good chemistry together! But then she was making no sense and talking about how she doesn't like him like a brother. Well I hope not!

Jade and Tanner went into their room and Tanner started a serious talk right away. He told her he has feelings for her but it's scary. He told her that his heart is way ahead of where it normally is. Jade said, "What are you afraid I'm going to do?" He told her he's afraid their lives could lead them on different paths and he would lose her. He admitted that he's afraid to be in love with her. He told her that he's falling for her and she told him that she wanted him to know that she's falling for him too! She said, "It's real for me too". He asked her if he could call her his girlfriend and said nodded her head yes! It was so sweet!

It's Joe's birthday and he told Samantha that he planned a date for the two of them. Joe was beating up on himself and told Samantha that a girl like her doesn't end up with a guy like him. He's talking down on himself too much, that's not a turn on Joe! He even asked her if there are other guys that she'd like to date. He said that he thought she was a little different than she normally was. He's totally insecure. Samantha was blowdrying her hair and Joe wandered in and she said she's so confused with the situation and everyone thinks that she's a bad person and he's a bad person. Despite that, she told him everything is fine and she hugged him.

Jade and Tanner returned from their date as boyfriend and girlfriend and they are both glowing! They are just falling in love and inspiring everyone. Mikey asked Jared if he was over Kaitlyn and he admitted that he wasn't. He said he wants something to be there with Ashley I. but it's just not there. He said he needs to end it because it's not fair to her. Poor Ashley is getting ready for a date with him and she's expecting a great date and instead she got dumped! He said that it's better to end it now than down the road because it would be harder on her. He thinks she is the sweetest girl there but he isn't feeling it. He admitted that he's just not ready because of Kaitlyn and Ashley cried. Then Ashley called Kaitlyn crying! She told Kaitlyn that Jared is still obsessed with her and it's ruined everything for her. Kaitlyn offered to talk to Jared but Ashley told her it was too late.

Joe set up a birthday date complete with a cake that says "Happy Birthday Joe" for himself and Samantha. Samantha showed up and was weird immediately. She said that she's never had so many emotions so early. This is terrible! She's dumping him on his birthday! No one deserves that. I know many people out there think that this is his comeuppance (which it is) but still! It's the guy's birthday! Seriously, this makes me think of Samantha as the villain, not Joe. He's just the poor idiot that got caught in her web of deceit. Then everyone was happy that she dumped him and were laughing and talking about him right as he was in the next room. As I started to feel bad for him, he called her the B-word. OK, I hate him again. You don't refer to women like that. Samantha apologized to the group and Juelia sat there stone-faced.

Tomorrow, Juelia and Mikey will get to go on a date. Joe is on a mission to destroy Samantha, and Justin shows up to paradise and goes after Samantha too! On "After Paradise" the next "Bachelor" will be announced so you won't want to miss that!
