BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WABC) -- Police are looking for a man in connection with a bank robbery and an attempted bank robbery at two different Capital One banks in Brooklyn.
At 11:30 a.m. Dec. 29, the suspect went into the Capital One Bank at 2102 Ralph Ave. in Brooklyn and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The suspect took $1,045 in cash and fled. He was wearing a Bulls baseball cap and red sneakers.
At 1 p.m. the same day, the suspect entered Capital One at 1425 Rockaway Parkway and handed the teller a note demanding cash. The suspect fled without money. He was wearing white sneakers at the time.
According to the New York City Police Department, the suspect is black, 26- to 38-years-old, 6 feet to 6 feet 4 inches, and about 200 pounds, with a goatee, black square framed glasses, a waist-length coat with a hood, and a gray, blue and white scarf.
