Suspect arrested after woman's body found in Bronx apartment

MORRISANIA (WABC) -- Police have arrested a suspect after a gruesome discovery was made at a Bronx apartment.

Police found the decomposing body of a 46-year-old woman in the Morrisania section in the apartment of a male friend.

It appears the woman, Milagros Rolon, may have been dead for up to a week.

Authorities say she was found with her hands tied, and her body was wrapped in a blanket.

The suspect, 53-year old Roger Roberts, is charged with murder and manslaughter.

The Medical Examiner is working to determine how she died.
