Police in the Bronx released surveillance video of a car involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured a child.

Investigators say the man driving a gray Mazda CX9 hit a 12-year-old boy on Logan Avenue in Throgs Neck last Saturday.

The man got out of the SUV and checked on the boy, but police say he then drove away without calling 911.

The boy remains in the hospital with serious injuries.
