Firefighters battle cab fire in Midtown Manhattan

MIDTOWN (WABC) -- Firefighters battled a cab fire Tuesday evening in Midtown Manhattan.

The FDNY responded after the SUV cab caught fire at about 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of 48th Street and Madison Avenue.

The fire was out within about 30 minutes.

The streets in the area were crowded with people at the height of rush hour, but no injuries were reported.
