Brooklyn home damaged in fire; 1 person hurt

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WABC) -- A three-alarm fire burned through an attached home in Canarsie Thursday morning.

Heavy fire burned through the basement of a residence in the 900 block of East 78th Street residence, and spread through the first and second floors.

One residents was being treated at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
