Three cars crash, one into a bank, in Manhattan

NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- A multi-car accident in Manhattan ended with an SUV careening into a bank Wednesday afternoon.

The incident happened at the intersection of Third Avenue and 85th Street on the Upper East Side.

Witnesses say there were three cars involved.

One of them jumped the curb and crashed into a TD Bank branch located at 1504 Third Avenue. One side window panel was smashed.

No serious injuries were reported, but at least two people were evaluated at the scene. One is believed to be the driver.

The accident happened at around 1 p.m. and prompted land closures.
