2 million pounds of 'fully cooked' chicken recalled
A recall is being expanded to include two million more pounds of 'fully-cooked' chicken that may not be.

WASHINGTON -- If you have chicken in the freezer, you'll want to pull it out.

Nearly 2 million pounds of ready-to-eat chicken is being recalled as part of an expansion of an earlier recall announced last month.

The products are sold as "fully cooked" for you to heat and serve, but National Steak and Poultry, which produced the meat, says is may be undercooked and can make you sick.

The chicken was sold at stores nationwide under a variety of names, including Hormel Natural Choice, Magnifoods, Mr. Hero, NSP, and Shaker Valley Foods.

The affected chicken has an establishment number of "P-6010T" inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The chicken was made between August 20 and November 30th.

You can check to see if your chicken is part of the recall on the USDA website.
