NEW YORK (WABC) -- Comic Con is back at the Javits Center, a four-day convention filled with sneek peaks, celebrity appearances and crazed fans dressed up as their favorite superheroes.

Fans raced each other to get a first look at the coming attractions, movies like "Big Hero 6", about a prodigy who develops a close bond with a rather large inflatable robot by the name of "Baymax".

And at Comic Con, it'd be tough to tell you who was more excited, the fan boys and girls, or the young actor who provides the voice of "Hero."

"I'm more of a fan of Comic Con than I am a participant. I come, I buy artwork, I buy toys, I go to panels, I enjoy it like everybody else," said Ryan Potter.

The gap between performer and fan is indeed very narrow here.

"It's almost like a sense of camaraderie, everybody's here for the same thing, to have a good time," said one of the performers.

"Make new friends, see a lot of cool stuff, new toys, new collectibles, all kinds of stuff," said a fan.

"You don't really learn a lot but you get to enjoy yourself quite a bit," another fan said.

Before Comic Con comes to a close on Sunday, 130,000 fans are expected to stroll in and many will be in costume, and though some may call them 'geeks', Hollywood takes all of them very seriously.

"Tomorrowland", which takes its title from the famed ride at Disneyland, tells the story of a jaded scientist and a teen full of hope.

It won't be out until next May, but showing it here is to build crucial buzz, especially on social media.

With so many movies out there and the opening of this one still so many months away, the chance to get these folks talking on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and the like was crucial to its fate at the box office.

"Tomorrowland" comes out in May of next year. "Big Hero 6" comes out next month. Both are from Walt Disney Pictures, owned by the same parent company of WABC.
