PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WABC) -- Delegates from each of the United States cast their votes at the Democratic National Convention Tuesday night in Philadelphia.
The votes were announced state-by-state in alphabetical order.
Connecticut was up first in the Tri-State. The delegates had 71 votes, of which 44 were cast for Hillary Clinton and 27 for Bernie Sanders. The representatives touted that Connecticut is the nation's home of pizza and hamburgers. Watch video of the vote announcement here:
Next up was New Jersey, which cast its 135 votes -- 90 for Hillary Clinton, 45 for Bernie Sanders. Watch the vote announcement here:
And last up was New York. Gov. Andrew Cuomo made the vote announcement. The state cast 181 votes for Hillary Clinton and 108 votes for Bernie Sanders. Watch it here:
