JoJo Fletcher is the new 'Bachelorette'

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A new woman kicks off her quest for love on the season premiere of "The Bachelorette" on Monday night, and Season 12 stars JoJo Fletcher, a name "Bachelor" fans will remember from last season.

JoJo won the hearts of millions of viewers of "The Bachelor," but not that of Ben Higgins, as she was jilted in the season finale. The now-25-year-old was burned by Bachelor Ben, who told her he loved her and then chose another.

She was left dazed and confused but still decided to come back and look for love on TV again.

"Hearing those words from Ben and having it not work out was the hardest part," she said.

She'll be careful not to say too much too soon, because she doesn't want any of the men to be blindsided like she was.

Though the show premieres Monday night, JoJo has already completed shooting the whole season. She said it's very tough to keep the results a secret from all the curious viewers she meets.

"I want to talk about it," she said. "But at the same time I know that's the excitement of why people watch."

Another reason people watch is for all the cringe-worthy moments the men put themselves through.

"It was very endearing to see how nervous these guys were," she said. "And I knew I had to do my best to calm their nerves."

Stamina, she said, is the key for all the young women who seek to follow in her footsteps. And comfortable shoes.

"Wear the most comfortable heels you have," she said. "And pack feet warmers and numbing cream."

JoJo is looking for some rest and relaxation in her home in Waco, Texas, where she works as a real estate developer.
