The best tributes to Notorious B.I.G. 20 years after his murder

NEW YORK (WABC) -- 20 years after the murder of Notorious B.I.G. at the age of 24 in Los Angeles, celebrities, friends and fans are paying tribute.

The legendary Brooklyn rapper, whose real name was Christopher Wallace, died in a drive-by shooting on March 9, 1997 nearly six months after the murder of Tupac Shakur.

Both murders remain unsolved.

Many took to social media on Thursday to post remembrances of Notorious B.I.G., also nicknamed Biggie Smalls.
