Since his debut, Mickey Mouse has been an American and fashion icon around the world. From Mickey tees to designer collections, Mickey Mouse continues to be a source of inspiration for the style world. And today, the leader of the club that's made for you and me, is the star of a new collaboration between Disney and Coach.
The collection, which is a part of a series of exclusive, limited-edition projects that celebrate American pop culture and commemorate Coach's 75th anniversary, includes handbags, accessories, shirts, and more. The hand-sketched styles, created by Disney animators show off Mickey's personality.
To celebrate the collection, Coach has transformed their SoHo store into a Mickey Mouse wonderland and we were on hand to get a first look at the collection! The store, curated by Love magazine's editor in chief, Katie Grand, features oversized sketches of Mickey and Mickey-shaped bean bag chairs, all with an eclectic vibe.
If you're in New York, be sure to stop by the store and pick up your favorites! If you want a virtual view though, check out Refinery29's tour of the store. Don't worry if you can't make it to the SoHo store, the collection will be available online and in stores everywhere June 17.
