Fire breaks out at Upper West Side high rise

UPPER WEST SIDE (WABC) -- A fire broke out in a high-rise apartment on the Upper West Side on Saturday afternoon.

The FDNY responded to Riverside Boulevard at 65th Street about 12:30 p.m.

Black smoke spewed from the 21st floor of the 30 floor building.

Firefighters contained the blaze to the apartment where it started.

There is no word yet on a cause.
