Police investigate death of baby found in Queens park

FOREST HILLS (WABC) -- Police are investigating the death of a baby found inside of a park located at Borage Place and Burns Street in Forest Hills, Queens.

Investigators responded to a call of an unconscious baby around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday and found a 10 week old female unconscious and unresponsive.

EMS also responded and took the infant to North Shore Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

No further details were immediately available. The investigation is ongoing.
