JAMAICA, Queens (WABC) -- Authorities are searching for a suspect after a man was shot and killed while answering the front door at his Queens home Tuesday night.
It happened on 171st Street in Jamaica, where police say 57-year-old Mohammed Rizwan was responding to someone at the door at about 5:45 p.m. when he was fatally shot in the chest.
His family, who was upstairs at the time, heard the shot and called the police.
Rizwan died later at Jamaica Hospital.
Police released a photo Friday of a man wanted in connection to the murder. Police believe the man is wearing a postal uniform or something that resembles one, but they do not know if he actually works for the post office.
No arrests have been made.
