ENGLEWOOD, N.J. (WABC) -- Police in New Jersey are searching for two men suspected in the armed robbery of an Englewood gas station.
It happened late Saturday just before midnight at the Exxon Tiger Mart store in the westbound lanes of Route 4, in "gasoline alley," just west of the South Van Brunt Street on/off ramp.
According to police, a significant amount of cash was taken by the gunman who spoke with an Hispanic accent.
No shots were fired and the clerk was unharmed.
The station's video surveillance system captured images of the suspect who is believed to be approximately 5'2".
Authorities believe the gunman may have had a much taller accomplice, over 6' in height, also wearing a similar mask, that hung back during the robbery - possibly as the lookout.
Though police were on the scene within moments, the suspects were able to escape.
Anyone with information about the robbery can call the Englewood City Detective Bureau at 201-568-4875.
