NEW YORK (WABC) -- For the third year in a row, Global Citizen is putting on a star-studded concert and festival on the great lawn in Central Park.

Last year, Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder and John Mayer performed.

This year: No Doubt, Sting, Jay Z, Carrie Underwood, FUN, The Roots and Tiesto will all take the stage.

And they're giving fans a sneak peak on social media.

"It's going to incredible to see tomorrow when there are thousands of people showing how much they care," said Veronica Dominczyk, a supporter.

"It's just something great to see everybody come together like this. The concert is a perfect venue to do it. It's music bringing everybody together, that's what the art was made to do," said Robbie Carpar, a supporter.

The festival's cofounder, Ryan Gall, says more than 60,000 people earned their free admission by doing community service.

"To get a ticket you have to take action. Those actions can be anything from signing a petition or tweeting at a Congressman asking them to vote a certain way or email a world leader asking them to come to the festival come on stage and make an announcement. A commitment on station," said Ryan Gall, the cofounder of Global Citizen.

This year's aim: helping to achieve a world without extreme poverty by 2030. So they're focusing on education, clean water and sanitation, as well as vaccines and immunizations.

"When we work together towards a big goal we can make big change. It's an important movement that everyone who comes will be involved in. It's exciting," Gall said.
