NEW YORK (WABC) -- Some quick-thinking bystanders jump to the aid of a man who fell onto the subway tracks Friday, rescuing him with just minutes to spare.
In this video seen on Gothamist.com, three Good Samaritans jumped without hesitation onto the tracks at the City Hall "R" Station and managed to life the unconscious man out.
They all scrambled back up onto the platform just in time.
Two minutes later, a train pulled in.
The man began to regain consciousness on the platform.
The MTA, by the way, does not recommend jumping onto tracks to save someone.
It says the best thing you can do it run toward the platform where the train enters and wave your arms to let the operator know to stop.
