HARLEM, N.Y. (WABC) -- A 19-year-old was shot on a Harlem subway platform during a dispute that spilled off of a northbound train.

The victim was shot in the left arm at the 110th Street Station/Central Park North at around 11 p.m. Tuesday, according to the New York City Police Department. He was taken to St Luke's Hospital in stable condition.

The man got into a dispute on the northbound No. 2 train with a young man, who was with a 19-year-old woman.

When the dispute continued onto the platform, the woman pulled a gun out of her bag and handed it to the man. The man shot the victim and both fled.

The woman was caught at West 112th Street and Adam Clayton Powell. Charges against her are pending.

Detectives are still looking for the gunman and the gun.

The gunman apparently ditched the distinctive orange jersey he was wearing several blocks north of the shooting. They believe he is carrying a black shopping bag

Northbound no. 2 and 3 trains bypassed the 110th Street station for several hours for the police investigation.
