EMS respond to helicopter crash in Riverhead

RIVERHEAD (WABC) -- EMS responded to a helicopter crash in Suffolk County.

The crash occurred 4 p.m. Sunday on 140 Vineyard Way in Riverhead.

Eyewitness is told only a male pilot was on board. He was not hurt in the crash, and was able to walk away.

EMS and the Riverhead Police Department are on the scene investigating because of concerns the helicopter is leaking fuel.

No other injuries were immediately reported.
