All-clear issued in Hell's Kitchen after NYPD investigates suspicious package

NEW YORK (WABC) -- An all-clear has been issued in Hell's Kitchen after authorities investigated what was thought to be a suspicious package.

A suitcase was left in front of the Duane Reade at 617 9th Avenue. It was unclear where it came from so authorities treated it as a suspicious package.

All the buildings on 9th Avenue between 43rd and 44th Streets were evacuated as a precaution.

ESU and the bomb squad were on scene investigating.
