Woman hurt in hit and run involving taxi in Gowanus, Brooklyn

PARK SLOPE, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police are searching for the driver of a taxi that hit a woman crossing a street in Gowanus, Brooklyn.

It happened as the woman was walking at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 7th Street just before midnight.

The NYPD is looking for a New York City green medallion taxi with front end damage.

The woman was taken to Methodist Hospital in Park Slope and is listed in stable condition.
