FLUSHING, Queens (WABC) -- It's a treat straight out of your Instagram feed. Ruimilk in Flushing combines creamy ice cream with fluffy cotton candy to create treats that look as decadent as they taste.

The dessert starts with a cup filled with ice cream, which is then topped with cotton candy that is shaped to resemble different characters like Hello Kitty, or Baymax from "Big Hero 6."

When you get your ice cream at Ruimilk you won't know what to do first, snap a picture to post on social media, or dig in. When you do take a bite, Ruimilk's owner, Nian Geng Lin, recommends eating a little bit of cotton candy with each bite of ice cream to get the best of both worlds.

Lin was inspired to create this new dessert combination after seeing different cotton candy designs while travelling in Japan. But, he says the idea to plop the cotton candy on top of ice cream was completely his. Lin wanted to combine art with food, and so Ruimilk was born.

Their signature cotton candy topped ice cream isn't the only creative treat created at Ruimilk. They also serve up drinks that are a rainbow of colors in a cup.

The ice cream and cotton candy confections are $5-$7 and the their rainbow variety of drinks $5-$6.

Whether you get ice cream with cotton candy in the shape of a Minion or a drink in your favorite colors, you're sure to be amazed.

Ruimilk is open 7 days a week from 10:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m., and is located at 136 Roosevelt Ave, Flushing, Queens.
