Jersey City fire leaves 2 buildings gutted, 13 displaced

JERSEY CITY, New Jersey (WABC) -- A fast-moving fire gutted two homes and displaced more than a dozen people in Jersey City early Wednesday morning.

The fire started on Dekalb Avenue around 3 a.m. and was quickly brought under control.

Police said 13 people, 10 adults and three children, were forced out and are receiving help from the Red Cross.

There are no reports of injuries.
