Damaged MRI machine emits hazardous gases at JFK Airport

JAMAICA, Queens (WABC) -- A damaged MRI machine began emitting hazardous gases at JFK Airport, according to the Port Authority Police officers' union.

The union says the incident happened Saturday night at a cargo building while the machine was in transit.

Firefighters and emergency crews were on the scene.
