Shooting at sports complex in New Jersey
At least 4 people were shot in Lakewood Saturday night.

LAKEWOOD, New Jersey (WABC) -- Police say four people were shot at a sports complex in Lakewood, New Jersey.

The shooting happened at a party at the Brook Road Sports Complex around 10 p.m. Saturday.

Lakewood Detective Lt. Gregory Staffordsmith said the victims all suffered serious but not life-threatening wounds.

Police have identified the victims as Curtis Alexander, 28, of Englishtown and 53-year-old Jerry Lee Dorsey, 29-year-old Jermeler Sample and 24-year-old Dajuan Morris all of Lakewood.

The motive for the shooting is not yet known. No arrests have been made.

Investigators are still actively searching for witnesses or anyone who may have information regarding the events leading up to the shooting. Anyone with information should contact Lakewood police.

The sports complex offers fields for recreational sports and a picnic area.
