LEONIA (WABC) -- An investigation is underway after a bullet was found in Leonia High School in New Jersey.
At about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, school officials said a student found a live round in the school's lower level.
The school was placed on lockdown and police secured the building.
All students were moved to the gymnasium. The Bergen County police and K-9 dog units headed to the scene to search school grounds and try to find out where the bullet came from.
No gun or additional bullets were found.
At about 3:45 p.m., students and staff were returned to their classrooms and school was dismissed.
