NYPD looking for suspect who took safe from Midtown deli

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a deli in Midtown Monday.

Around 9:35 a.m., the suspect went into the rear office of a deli at 466 Lexington Ave. and took a safe containing about $5,600.

The suspect then left through the front door, according to the New York City Police Department.

He is described as a black man wearing a black coat and a black hat.
