Celebrity stylist grants wishes with free wigs
SEWELL, N.J. -- Celebrity stylist Martino Cartier owns a salon in Sewell, New Jersey.
Through his work, he realized how important it is to make sure every woman who sits in his chair leaves feeling beautiful.
That includes those battling cancer, many of whom have to make the difficult decision to shave their heads.
Twelve years ago, he met a patient who could find a wig that looked realistic, so he decided to make his own.
That was the start of his non-profit "Wigs and Wishes."
His secret is to make hand-tied laced scalps that match the person's skin tone.
To call his product popular is an understatement.
He's now partnering with salons around the world to distribute about 25,000 wigs per year!
Most importantly, he's achieving his goal of making sure every woman feels beautiful.
