4 hurt when car jumps curb in Midtown

MIDTOWN (WABC) -- Four people suffered minor injuries when a car jumped a curb and plowed into pedestrians and a pole in Midtown Manhattan Monday afternoon.

The crash happened at Fifth Avenue and East 59th Street around 3 p.m.

Four people -- two pedestrians and two people in the car -- were transported to New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

Authorities say that preliminarily, it appears the driver suffered some sort of medical condition.
