Taxi runs into front of building in Midtown; no one hurt

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A taxi cab crashed into the front doors of an East Side deli early Tuesday morning.

The driver lost control and ran into the front of the store on First Avenue and East 49th Street just before 2:30 a.m.

The taxi driver was not seriously hurt.

Around the same time, two more cars collided in that intersection.

One of the drivers was hospitalized with serious injuries and the other was taken into custody on suspicion of drunk driving.
