Motorcyclist run over in Park Slope, Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WABC) -- A motorcyclist was run over by an SUV in Park Slope this morning.

Around 8:30 a.m., an SUV was trying to make a right turn from Fourth Avenue to Fifth Street, according to witnesses when it struck the motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist was pinned under the SUV and was rescued by firefighters.

Witnesses said the SUV remained at the scene. Police are investigating.

Police said the motorcyclist was taken to Methodist Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
