VIDEO: Man beaten by bat wielding group in the Bronx

MOUNT HOPE, Bronx (WABC) -- There is shocking new video of a man being viciously beaten with a bat in the Bronx.

The video released by the NYPD shows two men chasing the victim.

One of them started swinging a bat and landed several blows.

It happened early Sunday morning in the Mount Hope section.

A third man can later be seen yelling at the 56-year-old victim.

All of them appear to be wearing security uniforms.

The victim is now at St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
