Most Nassau County beaches will be open for the summer

MINEOLA, N.Y. (WABC) -- As the summer season gets underway, Nassau County is reporting that most of its beaches are open for 2014.

The county health department says three beaches remain closed due to a sewage bypass.

They are: Soundside Beach in Bayville, Roosevelt Beach in Oyster Bay and Laurel Hollow Beach in Laurel Hollow.
