NEW JERSEY (WABC) -- A woman in New Jersey is under arrest and accusing of making a fake 911 call in a ploy to drive drunk.

Police say Haley Oates was drinking at a bar in Wayne and wanted to drive home.

When she spotted cops in a parking lot nearby, she allegedly made the bogus 911 call about an assault so the officers would get called away.

She was arrested after posting messages about the prank online.

She posted: "lmao.. 2 mins later the cop peals out..silly piggies tricks r for u"

She's facing charges of filing false reports to law enforcement and creating false public alarm.
