Fire alarm activated at Newark airport

NEWARK, N.J. (WABC) -- A small fire in a restaurant at a Newark Airport terminal is not affecting airport operations.

The fire broke out above a stove in a restaurant in Terminal C, near gate 91.

Sprinklers mostly put the fire out, although firefighters had to respond.

No injuries were reported. Flight operations were not affected.
