2 firefighters hurt battling fire in Brentwood on Long Island

BRENTWOOD, Long island (WABC) -- Two firefighters were hurt battling a Brentwood house fire.

The fire, on Virgil Drive, broke out just after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

One firefighter sustained minor burns, and the other fell into a staircase and had to be rescued.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
