NEW YORK (WABC) -- A woman is in serious condition after rescue crews pulled her from the Harlem River in the Bronx.

The FDNY got a call Saturday night about a woman in the water near 225th Street and Broadway in Marble Hill.

Once they got on the scene, emergency crews had to shut down a Metro North line so they could climb over the tracks to get into the water.

They managed to pull the woman to safety.

She was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital.
