Brooklyn woman pushed to ground, mugged in apartment building

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WABC) -- A 75-year-old was attacked in her apartment building lobby over the weekend.

Around 4 p.m. Saturday, the woman stepped off the elevator in her apartment building lobby and was pushed to the ground by the suspect. The location of the building was not disclosed.

According to the New York City Police Department, he took a chain from her neck, then fled the building. The victim sustained minor injuries to her neck and right knee, and was treated at the scene.

The suspect is described as black, about 21, 5 feet 9 inches, 130 pounds, with black hair and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
