Car bursts into flames on 59th Street Bridge in Long Island City

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A car was engulfed by fire Thursday on the 59th Street Bridge in Long Island City, Queens.

It's not clear what sparked the flames.

The other drivers whizzed by as the flames and smoke hit their vehicles.

It did not appear that the fire caused much damage to the roadway.

There were no reports of injuries.
