BAY SHORE, Long Island -- Things are back to normal at a suburban New York hospital where gunshots in the parking lot prompted a lockdown.

Newsday reports that no one was injured in the incident Saturday at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore.

Suffolk County police responded to a report of shots fired at the hospital shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday.

They arrested 35-year-old John Gamble, of Riverhead, on a charge of reckless endangerment.

It's not clear if Gamble has a lawyer who could speak for him.

Hospital spokesman Jason Molinet says the lockdown was lifted at 8 a.m.
